Abstract

Estheticians with the right knowledge and understanding are able to recognize abnormalities on the skin and can therefore become an important player in the detection of skin cancer as well as provide calming skin care treatments and products for survivors. These same educated estheticians can help resolve oncology-related skin issues, and provide a soothing touch and relaxation for any person visiting a spa, especially if the person is living with cancer.

Kosmetiker/innen mit dem richtigen Wissen und Verständnis sind in der Lage, Veränderungen der Haut zu erkennen und werden daher zu einem wichtigen Akteur bei der Erkennung von Hautkrebs. Außerdem bieten sie beruhigende Hautpflegebehandlungen und Produkte für die Überlebenden. Dieselben geschulten Kosmetiker/ innen können dazu beitragen, onkologisch bedingte Hautprobleme zu lösen und sanfte Berührung und Entspannung für alle bieten, die eine Wellnessberaterin aufsuchen, insbesondere wenn die betroffene Person mit Krebs lebt.
