The
United States Pharmacopeia - National Formulary (USP–NF) is a combination of two official compendia, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and the National Formulary (NF). It contains standards for medicines,dosage forms, drug substances, excipients, biologics, compounded preparations, medical devices, dietary supplements, and other therapeutics. USP-NF standards are enforceable by the US. Food and Drug Administration for medicines manufactured and marketed in the United States.
A monograph includes the name of the ingredient or preparation; the definition; packaging, storage and labeling requirements; and the specification. The specification consists of a series of tests, procedures for the tests, and acceptance criteria. Medicinal ingredients and products will have the stipulated strength, quality, and purity if they conform to the requirements of the monograph and relevant general chapters.
The USP - NF Online subscriptions are available for one year for one or more users. The subscriptions include access to all updates posted online during the 12 months after the subscription start date. Each new update that is posted integrates content from all previous editions to date. The online format provides the same quality content found in print, along with viewable chemical structures for more than 700 impurities; extensive search capabilities; a glossary of frequently asked questions; and quick search, bookmarking, printing, and copy/paste functions. It also includes "My USP-NF", a special online tool that let's you save frequent searches, bookmark important pages, and create a custom table of contents.

Die United States Pharmacopeia National Formulary (USP-NF) bietet Zugriff auf die offiziellen Standards für Arzneimittel und verwandte Produkte, die die U.S. Food and Drug Administation in Bezug auf deren Herstellung und Vermarktung in den Vereinigten Staaten festgelegt hat. Die USP-NF bietet klar verständliche Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen für Spezifikationen, Tests, Verfahrensweisen und Akzeptanzkriterien, die für die pharmazeutische Herstellung und Qualitätskontrolle erforderlich sind.
Eine USP-NF Onlinesubskription ist 365 Tage gültig und kann für einen oder mehrere Benutzer abonniert werden. Die Anwender haben Zugriff auf alle Aktualisierungen die in den 12 Monaten nach Subskriptionsbeginn online erscheinen. Die Online-Ausgabe ist inhaltlich identisch mit der gedruckten Ausgabe, bietet aber noch folgenden Mehrnutzen:

Alle Preise in EURO/sFr zzgl. MwSt. sind jährlich zu bezahlende Nutzungslizenzgebühren. Der Zugang gilt ein volles Jahr (Beispiel: 04.04.2012 bis 03.04.2013).
